Walking Netball suitable for people of all abilities

IPSWICH Netball have been trialling a new version of their sport called Walking Netball.

Walking Netball is a slower version of the game allowing anyone to play regardless of age, ability or fitness level.

If you would like to give it a go get in contact with Ipswich Netball at: ipswichnetball@ optusnet.com.au or come along to the Limestone Park netball courts on Tuesday night from 6pm.

Sports awards celebration

LEADING achievers will be acknowledged at Friday night's 2018 Ipswich Sports Awards gala dinner at the North Ipswich Reserve Corporate Centre.

Categories to be awarded are: Junior Sportsperson, Senior Sportsperson, Masters Sportsperson, Team, Sporting Organisation, Volunteer, Official and Coach.

For those who can't make it on the night, keep an eye on the Sport Ipswich Facebook page where we will keep you up-to-date with the winners as they're announced.

Springfield AGM

THE Springfield United Football Club is holding its Annual General Meeting on Sunday, November 18.

The meeting starts at 4pm at The Avenue Room, Springlake Hotel (1/1 Springfield Lakes Boulevard, Springfield Lakes).

The current Springfield United Football Club board and administration group invites all members from the 2018 season to attend.

Springfield United Football Club is run entirely by volunteers.

At the AGM, all board positions become vacant.

People are invited to nominate for one of the positions.

Springfield United FC is looking for more board members to assist running the club.
