FINDING a comfortable pair of decent-sounding sports wireless earbuds that don't fall out when you're on the move is more difficult than you think.
While Apple's AirPods are super comfortable, they may not be so good in staying in when you are all hot and sweaty.
And going for a run, your biggest fear is always losing one of them - or having your son lose one of them in the couch when he 'borrows them'.
That's where Sennheiser's Bluetooth CX Sport headphones come in.
These are probably the most comfortable wireless buds I've tried - mainly because they come with four different ear tips as well as three different 'fins' - bright yellow in colour - so you will never lose them.
The fins are used to offer extra protection from the buds falling out. They work surprisingly well.
The buds are also secured by a neck cable which is adjustable.
On the cable there is a volume rocker, power and play/pause button and micro-USB charging port.
You can use the button to easily answer incoming phone calls.
The battery is more than adequate for a few days' use offering about six hours of life. A quick charge in the car on the way to the gym is enough to power a new session.
The sound quality is what you would expect from a top brand like Sennheiser. There's plenty of bass and you can hear a wide array of instruments in the background.
We tested them using a range of songs from classical jazz to heavy metal madness.
The bass is as powerful as promised but not the same as full over the ear headphones.
I did experience some dropouts in connection during my testing but probably due to the number of notifications I have coming through on my phone. It's a hazard of being in the news game.
The range from the phone was not huge, as I discovered as I walked up the driveway, while leaving my phone in the garage.
One good feature of the headphones is that you can pair up to two devices simultaneously - something that would be handy if you teenage son decides to 'borrow them'.
Most importantly, the earbuds are also splash and sweat resistant.
At $199, they are not cheap, but if you want something comfortable with good sound, they're worth considering.
