The Last night of the Proms
Saturday, May 4 at 7.30pm at Concert Hall, QPAC
THE Last Night of the Proms concert in 2019 combines the traditional elements of the Royal Albert Hall event with a unique Australian touch, featuring Australian artists and music.
Immerse yourself in Nigel Westlake's Oboe Concerto.
The eclectic composer of many great Australian works is familiar through his music in the soundtracks Babe and the Beatrix Potter biopic starring Renee Zellweger.
Sing along to traditional choruses - Jerusalem, Land of Hope and Glory.

Kings and Queens

IN this concert, prepare to lose yourself in the opulent and triumphant world of Kings and Queens, with a feast of processions, waltzes and marches, including the ever-popular Entrance of the Queen of Sheba by Handel.
