I'M A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! kicked off for 2018 on Ten tonight - and while a handful of celebs were revealed before the show aired, there were still some big surprises for viewers.
Here are the 10 celebs (so far) set to endure the wilds of Africa for our viewing pleasure - as they were revealed on the show:
Shannon Noll - singer
The season 1 Australian Idol runner up, 42, is the 'iconic Aussie rocker' heading into the jungle. Will reality TV revive his career fortunes?
Tiffany - singer
Remember this 46-year-old American hitmaker (cough - one-hit-wonder)? Best-known for her 80s cover of the song I Think We're Alone Now.
Jackie Gillies - Real Housewife
Shine shine shine! It's Newcastle's best-known celebrity psychic, wife of silverchair's Ben Gillies and Real Housewives of Melbourne cast member, Jackie Gillies. How will she fare without a constant supply of La Mascara?
Peter Rowsthorn - actor and comedian
Bretty! Yep, it's Kim from Kath and Kim's long-suffering on-screen husband. Rowsthorn, 54, should be an affable, tension-defusing presence at camp.
Simone Holtznagel - model
This former Australia's Next Top Model, 24, has turned her earlier reality TV stint into an international modelling career - and was adorably starstruck by meeting Peter Rowsthorn.
Josh Gibson - retired AFL player
The three-time premiership winning AFL player, 33, retired from footy five months ago. He's in with a good shot at going far - male athletes traditionally do well on this show.
Bernard Tomic - tennis player
The "bad boy of Aussie tennis", 25, insists he's not here for the money: "I am doing this because it is something I always wanted to do in my life," he told Newscorp before entering the jungle. You'd have to assume he's telling the truth - Tomic has won over $5million in prize money so far in his career. In his intro video in tonight's premiere, he brags that he has "amazing houses in Australia, in Istanbul, in Monaco, in Miami."
His flashy reputation precedes him, though: "I don't go, 'that's Bernard Tomic the tennis player. I go 'That's the guy everyone thinks is a giant wanker'," said fellow contestant Simone Holtznagel as soon as she set eyes on him.
Fiona O'Loughlin - comedian
This acclaimed comedian, 54, has spoken about everything from her lively family life to her struggles with alcoholism during her act - so expect a wealth of fascinating campfire chat. As a mum of five who's also fostered many more kids over the years, she could be a kind but stern figure in camp.
Kerry Armstrong - actor
Lantana and Seachange star Armstrong, 59, is the true wildcard of this season, an acclaimed actress with something money can't buy that can be easily lost on a show like this: Credibility. Asked by Newscorp's Jonathan Moran why she'd signed on to eat bugs in the jungle, Armstrong was blunt: She's a single mother with a mortgage to pay. In fact, her first words to another contestant on the show, delivered to Bernard Tomic: "Hello! Will you lend me some money?"
That's all for now - but another 'headline-grabbing' celebrity is going into the jungle in tomorrow night's episode. Ten did tease that two of this year's contestants have been locked in a famous feud, and it's none of this lot, so perhaps all will be revealed tomorrow.
I'm A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! airs Sundays to Thursdays on Ten.
