A CHRISTMAS disco featuring live music, games, face painting, a jumping castle, virtual reality and raffles will be held at Brothers Leagues Club this month.

The event is not only a fun, family-friendly night out, but also a way for the community to help sick kids in hospital and also those who are in foster care.

Rochelle Caloon is organising the event with David Cullen from Ipswich Pro Drive, who has come on board to help sponsor the event.

Both are hoping the community will jump on board to help this worthy cause.

"The Christmas Disco will be a fun night out for everyone to enjoy," Ms Caloon said.

"There will also be a visit from Santa and lots of raffles for people to win some great prizes.

"We would also ask people who are coming on the night to donate a gift which will be given to a child who is in foster care. You can wrap the present up and write what age and gender the present is for.

"I just love Christmas. It's the best time of the year. It's not about presents, but rather family and caring for others."

Ms Caloon said she was over the moon with the support they had received for the event so far.

"I am so blessed to have Dave from Ipswich Pro Drive come on board to support the event," she said.

The Christmas Disco will be held on November 23 from 6.30-8.30pm at Brothers Leagues Club in their function room.

Families who are interested in attending need to pre-register. Phone Rochelle on 0431315898.
